I see dead Pokemon....

This one has the taken the longest of any of my songs thus far, mostly because I had to improve most of the backtrack, which never really felt right. Anyway, enjoy.

When you finish these, do you mind if I put them all on my ipod?

Go on ahead! I'm going to upload the .mp3 files onto a webpage when I'm done, and have a .zip of all of them, too.

Seriously, that tone is awesome. What is your setup? I mean, in terms of guitars and amps etc.

Squire Stratocaster into a Digitech RP250 effects pedal. That has a direct USB out. I also have a Behringer GM110 amp.

Ah, The Digitech stuff is always very good. I want to get a Digitech Whammy at some point :)

The fact that you get the sound that you do out of a Squire Strat astounds me :o

I'm extremely satisfied with how versatile the little thing is. It's pretty much replaced my amp, as it handles all the effects.

The Strat itself is minimally upgraded, with the only thing I can find different from most is a hummbucker lead pickup (which is what I use for recording). Now I'm curious what something a little more pricey would get me...

Ahh, upgraded pickups help a lot, indeed.

Well, if you're looking to get really pricey, you could get something like this:

They're a pickup brand based in the UK, not that well known, but I've heard (Quite literally, from a friend of mine, he has a guitar with a set of them and played it for me) wonders about how they sound. I'm hoping to get a set once I have some extra cash on hand.

Man, if only I had that kind of cash...

Hand-made? Sounds like a difficult job.
